Host Home Provider

Step 1

happy family

A Host Home Provider (HHP) is an independent contractor who provides care and support to people who need it in their own homes. Depending on individual needs, an HHP can provide assistance with personal care, safety supervision, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and more. Some HHPs may choose to continue pursuing part-time or full-time jobs while their clients work in the community or attend an adult day care program. On the other hand, other HHPs prefer to stay at home to take care of their clients full time. Ideally, an HHP must be an excellent communicator, compassionate, respectful, and a strong advocate for their client.

Presently, the following HHPs are in demand:

  • Single HHPs
  • Homes that are wheelchair accessible
  • Trained medical professionals (RNs, LPNs, CNAs, etc.)
  • Trained behavioral professionals

Step 2

Being a Host Home Provider can be a rewarding job, but it can come with its own set of challenges as well. We will do our best to provide you with all of the support and resources that you need to become a successful HHP.

As an experienced quality care service provider, we will do our best to ensure a good client match. We will take your preferences and needs into consideration as well before matching you with a client. We will do everything that we can to make the process easier for you and your family. For instance, we offer online case management tools which make it easier for you to prepare necessary documents and reports in your own home.

We are leaders in the field. Our management team averages 12 years of experience in the field of
Developmental Disabilities.

We have over 10 Host Homes in the Dacula and surrounding areas.

We have been in business for almost 12 years; we continue to grow but our values and integrity remain the same. A Circle of Care for Individuals.

Our relationships with our clients and community are important to us. We endeavor to maintain long-term client relationships based on trust, integrity, and compassion. Thus, we coordinate regular social gatherings for our host home providers, clients and families to provide the opportunity to get to know one another, and establish partnerships, mentorships and friendships.

Step 3

Sign up to become a Host Home Provider!

Are you ready to become a Host Home Provider? To get started, please fill out and submit the short questionnaire below. After submission, make sure to check your email – we will do our best to provide you with timely feedback. As much as we would love to welcome all interested HHPs, we screen providers whom we believe can best meet the needs of potential clients. Rest assured, we will hold on to all questionnaires for at least 2 years in case provider demands change.

If you pass the initial screening process, you will receive an e-mail asking you to complete our full application process. We run comprehensive background checks for everyone in the home over the age of 17. Once your full application has been received, you will receive another e-mail containing a link for an online background release. We require you to provide full names and e-mail addresses for all adults in the home aged 17 years old and above.

Please take note that the process to find a client match for your host home can take as long as 3 to 6 months. While waiting for a match, there are various things that you can do to increase your chances of being selected as an HHP: Complete American Red Cross CPR and first aid Classes; get experience as a Direct Care Professional; and/or open your home for respite clients.
