Host Home Services
Host homes are a residential home for individuals with developmental disabilities. In a host home, an individual with developmental disabilities lives in the home with a host family who provides care around the clock. In a host home setting the individuals become a part of a family. Host homes is where the individuals will receive assistance within a safe and loving family environment. With our host home services, we are capable of helping identify the individual needs of patients.
Georgia host homes provide the following services:
- Accommodations in an available bedroom
- Supportive care:
- Personal hygiene
- Dressing assistance
- Recreational Activates
- Safety supervision
- Health oversight
Host Homes are thoroughly vetted for appropriateness. They are screened for criminal records and DMV background check. We also require our host home providers to complete formal Medical Administration, CPR, and First Aide. Ultimately, host homes are approved and certified by the Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities.
